The ABFFE Affiliate Program

The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression began its affiliate program in 2009, when 2020Vision USA, a company that sells reading and sunglasses, pledged to donate $1 to ABFFE for each pair of its glasses sold by independent booksellers. In 2010, emotionGallery agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds it made from independent booksellers who sold their innovative 3-D bookmarks. Later that year, Carolyn Forsman, who designed and made jewelry (including the popular Banned Books Week bracelet) joined ABFFE's affiliate program. In all, the affiliate program has generated thousands of dollars in donations and provided booksellers with an easy and profitable way to support ABFFE.

The newest ABFFE affiliate is Filofax, the premier supplier of journals, datebooks, planners and writing instruments.  Filoxfax also distributes Lamy pens and pencils and all Letts of London products.  Filofax is contributing five per cent of its wholesale sales to bookstore members of the American Booksellers Association.

If your store is interested in taking part in the program, check out ABFFE's brochure or email Philip Turner, affiliate manager, at .
